variety of large, pure white peonies cultivated
in Niigata Prefecture’s nature-rich Uonuma region.

This variety was created by finding an exceptionally beautiful pure white flower
from about 6,000 seeds and then further breeding for that trait,
in a process that took over 15 years.

Creating an extract from pruned flower buds
To ensure the plants continue to create high-quality, beautiful pure white flowers, some buds are pruned during cultivation.
While normally discarded, we have used these buds to create an extract.
Only about five drops of extract can be obtained from each flower, making this a rare and precious material.
